Parity Talks

Since 2016, usually on March 8, the International Women's Day, Parity Talks have been held at the Department of Architecture, organized by members of the Parity Group, a bottom-up initiative of assistants and students.

The aim:

• Public debate on gender equality and diversity in architectural education and professional practice in Switzerland and abroad.
• In the context of the ETH Gender Action Plan introduced in 2014: Develop strategies and tools to achieve gender parity (equality between men and women), in particular to increase the still exceptionally low proportion of female professors.
