Exhibition Grants
Promotion of exhibitions with public impact.
With the Exhibition Grants, the department promotes and supports its professorships in the initiation and realisation of exhibitions with public impact. The aim of the Exhibition Grants is to increase the national and international visibility and positioning of the department.
Requirements
- Applications must explain how an exhibition will have an impact in at least one of the five Strategic Areas of Action.
- Applications show how an exhibition will generate a significant public impact and increase the national and/or international visibility of the department (details of the exhibiting institution, expected visitor numbers, target audience and accompanying communication/press work).
- Applications show how the exhibition conveys the specific topics of the professional discourse to the wider society.
- Applications show the total budget including the origin of the funds. The share to be financed by the Exhibition Grant amounts to a maximum of 20% of the total project sum.
- Applicants are expected to informed D-ARCH about the realization, communication and documentation of the exhibition and to involve D-ARCH Communications (Andres Herzog) at an early stage of the project.
The Exhibition Grants serve exclusively to promote ETH external exhibitions with a high public impact. Accordingly, no exhibitions on the ETH campus or exhibitions with limited public impact will be funded. Applications must be submitted at least 3 months before the start of the exhibition.
The decision on the allocation of funds lies with the Executive Board of the Department in consultation with Lisa Giordano (Finances) and Andres Herzog (Communications) and are depending on the currently availability of funds.
