Semester enrollment, matrikulation, course registration
The Registrar's Office provides information and deadlines for the semester enrollment by e-mail.
Late enrollment is only possible during a limited period of time and will incure a fee of CHF 50.00.
Students who do not enroll will be exmatriculated.
After the semester enrollment students can register for course units in myStudies.
If you wish or plan to INTERRUPT your studies (e.g. for a compulsory internship, military or civilian service, exam preparation), you can enroll for a "leave of absence" on myStudies (just click on the "apply for leave of absence" button, choose in the dropdown the type of the absence).
If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact the Registrar's Office ().
Not registering (or ignoring a call to register) is NOT an alternative.
Before submitting the bachelor's diploma request
- all credit points must be performed and classified in the correct categories,
- you must be enrolled in the Master's degree programme (myStudies / Functions / Master's degree programme / Commence Master's degree programme).
Afterwards, you can submit / print / sign the bachelor's diploma request and pass it along with an internship confirmation (or send it by post) to the Study Administration Office.
- If additional credit points are pending,
- If you would like to switch credit points within bachelor's and master's degree programmes,
- If you are a student receiving the FINAL ACADEMIC RECORD for your BACHELOR's degree AFTER the end of the second semester week,
you have to enroll for ANOTHER Bachelor semester and additionally for their Master studies as well (with the tuition and semester fees only being charged once).
