CASA 2022: Support for Ukrainian Scientists

CASA supports Ukraine

ETH Zurich and the Department of Architecture (D-ARCH) condemn Russia's act of aggression against Ukraine. Research groups from universities around the world are aiming at supporting Ukrainian scientists by offering to provide them a temporary academic home.

The offers are listed in a Google Document named external pageLabs supporting Ukrainian.

Amongst several groups from ETH Zurich, also D-ARCH supports the various initiatives by offering its next
Fellowship at the Center for Advanced Studies in Architecture (CASA) to emeriging scholars from Ukraine.

The CASA Fellowship aims at postdoctoral level researchers in history & theory of architecture, architecture & technology, preservation, or candidates with professional experience in design, architecture & art, urbanism, landscape architecture and related areas. Fellows are invited to engage in the activities of the department, particulary within the framework of D-ARCH’s Doctoral School. They are provided full access to existing resources (e.g. technology platforms, gta Archives, ETH Library). The stipends correspond to the salary of an average postdoctoral position; travel costs and accommodation are paid by the fellows. Working space is provided.

The fellowship is planned to start on 1 October, 2022.
