Structure of studies
Bachelor education in architecture
The course teaches students the basic skills of architectural design and construction and the holistic management of architectural tasks on a scientific basis. The degree program is divided into four areas of competence:
- Architecture and Arts
- Histories and Humanities
- Environment and Society
- Building and Technologies
These qualifications are primarily intended to enable students to continue and deepen their studies in Master's degree programs.
The first year of study serves to create a common foundation in the training of perception and design skills, as well as in the methodology of architectural design. The basic examination in all subjects concludes this year.
In the second and third year, the acquired skills are deepened and the foundations for the Master's program are acquired.
A six-month internship in the field of architecture is required to obtain the Bachelor's degree.
A total of 180 credit points must be earned.
