Self-​defined topic

Qualified and interested students have the opportunity to submit an idea sketch as a suggestion for a free, self-chosen topic. If the proposal is approved, a work programme will be prepared under the supervision of the Master professor during one semester. The Master professor decides whether the work programme can be counted as part of a "Design V-IX" learning unit. In this case, the course HS 052-1201-..L must be taken in HS and the course FS 052-1202-..L must be taken in FS. If the work programme is accepted, it can be edited as a free master's thesis in the following semester.

The elaboration of the Master's thesis as group work (up to two students) may be granted if this appears justified in terms of content, scope and editing. Also note the timing of a free Master's thesis.
